Position Summary
As a Sr. Specialist, Paid Search, you will play a crucial role in driving digital campaign success. You will be responsible for developing and executing paid search campaigns, optimizing them for performance, and leveraging insights to inform future strategies.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following activities:
Live and breathe the overarching strategy
- Work with our planning and strategy teams to understand the client objectives, target audiences, and desired outcomes
- Inform and utilize comms strategy inputs (competitive, consumer, category, etc.) to define role of paid search within client goals
- Understand paid search’s strengths and weaknesses among other digital platforms such as paid social and programmatic
Build smart digital campaigns
- Develop digital plans across paid search that align with business and comms objectives, determining platform/campaign/placement priorities, creative strategy, and measurement frameworks
- Contribute to quarterly testing roadmaps and evaluate alphas/betas/new partners
- Maintain awareness of tech and industry capabilities to help evaluate and evolve data and tech partners
- Connect digital strategy to other paid and non-paid channels (sponsorships, OOH, CRM, TV, email, organic social etc.) to encourage more insightful and intentional campaign planning and execution
Bring the work into the world
- Activate campaigns through various platforms (SA360, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Apple Search Ads, and others) and maximize media performance through ongoing optimizations
- Contribute to ongoing quality assurance process to ensure all aspects of a campaign’s creative, settings, budget parameters, brand safety needs etc., are met
- Day-to-day budget management, pacing, partner management and billing
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of digital media experience, with at least 2 years of paid search campaign activation experience.
- Strong understanding of paid search platforms and tools (e.g., Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360).
- Experience with site tagging, analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), and asset trafficking.
- Proven ability to analyze campaign data and provide actionable insights.
- Ability to learn quickly and think on your feet
- Insatiable curiosity and desire to know “why”
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
